Nida Risto was born in Albania and has been designing homes and spaces in Jackson Hole, Wyoming, for over a decade. Nida Risto Interiors owes its diverse array of cultural influences and sharp design vision to her breadth of life experience and talent.
Nida’s passion for design began to bud as a child when she traced her father’s blueprints with crayons, and then blossomed as an architecture student at the University of Engineering in Tirana. At the age of 19 she realized that to accomplish the things she dreamed of she needed to come study in the United States. She moved half a world away from the life she had known and enrolled at BYU-I, where she graduated with a BA in Interior Design.
She was quickly hired by WRJ Design in Jackson Hole as the first employee in 2011. Nida worked at WRJ during the time it became a premiere interior design firm, and she served as the Design Director there for five years. In 2020 she set out on her own and founded Nida Risto Interiors.
Nida’s eclectic sense of style and timeless aesthetic drives the creative vision of the firm. She is a prolific collector of objects and experiences, and she finds inspiration through every facet of life: through art, music, antiques, the people she meets on her travels, places, unusual objects, history, and fine craftsmanship. Most importantly, she deeply values helping clients discover their own sense of design, leading each project to be uniquely tailored to the people inhabiting the space. That drive to put our client’s personal style forward informs everything she does.
When Nida is not working, she is spending time with her husband and young son outdoors, drawing, reading, playing the violin, or daydreaming about a custom-designed piece of furniture.
Brooke Saba spent her childhood in Sarasota, Florida, before life brought her to Jackson Hole. From the ages of 7-21 her passions were singing opera and playing tennis. She graduated from Wake Forest University in 2013 and earned a business degree with a focus on arts marketing. She also earned her Interior Design Certificate Degree from The New York School of Interior Design in 2022. While growing up, Brooke visited Jackson multiple times each year with her family and it has always held a special place in her heart. Two years after college she decided to move to Jackson and make it her home.
Brooke initially worked with Nida at WRJ Design, and then followed her to Nida Risto Interiors where she has gained invaluable knowledge learning the trade directly from Nida. Brooke has a versatile appreciation for many design styles from traditional, to rustic, to modern. She believes that great design reflects an understanding of who each client is and what is important to them on a personal level, and she shares Nida’s love for helping each client create a space that reflects their personal sense of style. “There is incredible joy in working with Nida because no two homes are going to look the same. Each project I have worked on is unique and has touches of personality specific to each client that make her designs truly special.”
With endless access to outdoor beauty, Brooke loves to get outside anytime she is not working to enjoy skiing, hiking, pickleball, and getting on the river as much as possible.
