“Nida deeply values helping clients discover their own sense of design, leading each project to be uniquely tailored to the people inhabiting the space. The drive to put the client’s personal style forward informs everything she does.”

Nida Risto was born in Albania and has been designing homes and spaces in Jackson Hole, Wyoming, for over a decade. Nida Risto Interiors owes its diverse array of cultural influences and sharp design vision to her breadth of life experience and talent.
Nida’s passion for design began to bud as a child when she traced her father’s blueprints with crayons, and then blossomed as an architecture student at the University of Engineering in Tirana. At the age of 19 she realized that to accomplish the things she dreamed of she needed to come study in the United States. She moved half a world away from the life she had known and enrolled at BYU-I, where she graduated with a BA in Interior Design.
She was quickly hired by WRJ Design in Jackson Hole as the first employee in 2011. Nida worked at WRJ during the time it became a premiere interior design firm, and she served as the Design Director there for five years. In 2020 she set out on her own and founded Nida Risto Interiors.
Nida’s eclectic sense of style and timeless aesthetic drives the creative vision of the firm. She is a prolific collector of objects and experiences, and she finds inspiration through every facet of life: through art, music, antiques, the people she meets on her travels, places, unusual objects, history, and fine craftsmanship. Most importantly, she deeply values helping clients discover their own sense of design, leading each project to be uniquely tailored to the people inhabiting the space. That drive to put our client’s personal style forward informs everything she does.
When Nida is not working, she is spending time with her husband and young son outdoors, drawing, reading, playing the violin, or daydreaming about a custom-designed piece of furniture.
Born and raised in southeast Idaho, Stephanie Hill grew up along the Snake River, where the quiet rhythm of rural life and the surrounding natural beauty shaped her early love for simple, intentional design. That connection to nature continues to influence her work today.
After earning her Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design from BYU–Idaho, Stephanie moved to Jackson to begin her career at Jackson Hole Cabinets, a high-end kitchen and bath showroom. There, she refined her skills in space planning and functional design before moving into full-scale residential design at WRJ Design. She later joined Nida Risto Interiors, where she found a creative home that reflects her appreciation for thoughtful, enduring spaces.
With over 15 years of experience, Stephanie is known for her modern yet understated aesthetic and her careful attention to detail. She strives to create rooms that feel grounded and livable—spaces shaped by the way her clients truly live and inspired by the landscapes that surround Jackson.
When she’s not in the studio, Stephanie enjoys traveling, scuba diving, and spending as much time outdoors as possible.
Lauren Flater grew up in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, and earned her B.S. in Political Science from the University of Wisconsin–La Crosse. She first came to Jackson in the summer of 2023 and quickly fell in love with the valley’s beauty and the community's character.
Lauren joined Nida as an intern that summer and became a full-time Design Assistant in January 2024. Her work has provided her with valuable hands-on experience, and she especially enjoys watching each project come to life—from the initial ideas to the final installation. She admires how Nida Risto Interiors' designs honor both the client and the natural landscape that makes Jackson unique.
In her free time, Lauren embraces the outdoor lifestyle, spending summers hiking in the parks or floating the Snake River, and winters skiing at JHMR.
